WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Wichita man is asking for help getting his electric bike back after it was stolen Wednesday at a gas station in southeast Wichita.

Timothy Jones said the bike is his only means of transportation and cost him more than $1,000. He saved money from every paycheck for almost a year to buy it.

“I saved and saved and saved, out of every paycheck for almost a year,” Jones said.

The e-bike cuts his 30-minute commute down to 13 minutes, Jones said.

“It’s how I support my family, it’s how I get to work every day, it’s how I get home every day,” he said.
