Noah Centineo is reportedly in talks to join the upcoming new Gundam movie!

The 29-year-old The Recruit star is eyeing a leading role in the live-action adaptation, where he would join Sydney Sweeney , according to Deadline .

She was reported to be in final talks earlier this year.

The upcoming movie is based on the Japanese military sci-fi franchise and is set to be written and directed by Sweet Tooth showrunner Jim Mickle .

Though plot details are currently unknown, per Deadline , “ Gundam is set in the Universal Century, a future where humanity has colonized space. When a rebellion erupts between Earth and its colonies, the ensuing conflict is fought by pilots in massive mechanized contraptions known as mobile suits.”
