No. 1 Purdue rolled to one of the most impressive victories of the young college basketball season, blitzing No. 15 Texas Tech 86-56 and putting seven players in double figures on the way to winning the title at the Baha Mar Championship.
Oscar Cluff led the Boilermakers (6-0) with 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting and 15 rebounds while fellow big man Daniel Jacobsen chipped in 11 points and eight rebounds and Braden Smith added 10 points and seven assists.
The victory was Purdue's 12th in a row in multi-team events, with nine of those wins coming against top-25 opponents. The Boilers have won such an event five years in a row.
Tied at 20 with 9:28 left in the first half, Purdue ran away from the Red Raiders with easily its best stretch of the season, ripping off a 37-6 run over a 13-minute
