(Dakota News Now) - The University of Sioux Falls Women’s Basketball team turned in its most complete performance of the young season on Friday afternoon, racing past South Dakota Mines 84–59 to open the USF Classic inside the Stewart Center. The Cougars delivered an explosive first quarter, piled up 27 points in the opening frame, and never trailed on their way to improving to 2–2 on the year.
USF shot 54.4 percent from the field, assisted on 24 of its 31 made baskets, and posted four double-digit scorers in a wire-to-wire win that showcased both efficiency and depth.
