CARROLLTON – For the second straight round of the Class 6A Division I playoffs, the Coppell football team was in command seemingly start to finish.

Despite the yardage battle with Richardson coming up close, the Cowboys’ defense came up clutch time and time again by forcing seven turnovers -- one fumble recovery, one interception and five turnovers on downs.
