Police recovered 10 high-tech pistols made in Turkey and China and a large number of cartridges from the spot
The Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Saturday uncovered a major international arms smuggling racket with suspected links to Pakistan’s ISI.
Officials confirmed the arrest of four members of the module, who allegedly procured high-tech firearms from Pakistan via drones and supplied them to noted gangs including Lawrence Bishnoi, Gogi, Bambiha and Himanshu Bhau.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs that a consignment of weapons was to be delivered in Delhi, the Crime Branch laid a trap in the Rohini area.
During the operation, police arrested the accused and recovered 10 high-tech pistols, manufactured in Turkey and China, along with a large cache of cartridges.
