Samba: A Pakistani drone was sighted hovering over a forward village along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, officials said on Saturday.

The drone reportedly entered from Pakistan’s Chak Bhura post late Friday and hovered for a few minutes over Regal village in the Ghagwal area before flying back across the border, officials added.

Security forces immediately conducted a thorough search to ensure no payload—such as weapons or narcotics—had been dropped in the area, they said. (Agencies)
