Srinagar, Nov 22: A coordinated multi-agency mock exercise was conducted at Jammu Airport to assess the operational readiness and emergency response capability of multiple security and support agencies, officials said.
The drill saw joint participation of the CISF, Special Operations Group (SOG) of J&K Police, Indian Air Force, Airports Authority of India (AAI), J&K Fire & Emergency Services, GMC medical team, AAI Fire Services, and the CISF BDDS and Dog Squad.
Officials said the exercise aimed to strengthen inter-agency coordination, evaluate standard response procedures, and enhance preparedness for real-time emergency situations at the airport. (KNC)
