A youth from Kalmady died in a road accident that occurred late Friday night in Thane, Mumbai.

The deceased has been identified as Inish Lobo (25), a native of Kalmady in Udupi. He reportedly died after his motorcycle met with an accident.

Inish had been working for a multinational company in Thane for the past three years. He was also an active member of the ICYM unit of Kalmady Church and involved in various church activities.

He is survived by his father Apollo, mother Irene and sister Ashwini Lobo.
