The build-up has been bubbling for a while and finally, the stars of Strictly Come Dancing are by the sea in none other than Blackpool.

Every year, the BBC One dance show relocates, along with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the judges, the celebrities and their professional partners and the show's crew, to broadcast the popular programme live from the seaside town.

They transform the famous Blackpool Tower into its own Strictly ballroom, complete with an expanded cast of professional dancers and an electric Northern atmosphere, which every year promises to be an unmissable celebration.
