BARNESVILLE — The Monroe Central Seminoles girls basketball squad took to the road and started their season with a bang, defeating the Barnesville Shamrocks 58-15 on Friday night.
Maci Isaly started her time with the Seminoles on a high note, leading all scorers with 16 points. She made four 3-pointers, all in the first half.
Monroe Central led 27-8 at the half.
Brylee McFrederick scored 11 for the Seminoles, doing all of her damage in the second quarter. Mayzie Emery scored 10 to join her teammates in double figures.
Jacey English filled up the stat sheet with four points, 10 rebounds, eight steals, and four assists.
Becklee Oliver led Barnesville with six points.
