MACEDONIA, Ohio – It was a tale of two offenses in the first half of Friday night’s Division VII, Region 25 championship game.

As McDonald (13-0) put together long, methodical scoring drives, Mogadore was using big plays to answer right back.

Eventually, untimely penalties and costly turnovers proved to be too much for the third-seeded Wildcats to overcome, along with McDonald’s Wing-T offense that featured two ballcarriers that rushed for over 95 yards.

Mogadore’s season came to end Friday night at Nordonia’s Boliantz Stadium with a 42-21 loss. Mogadore (11-2) wasn’t able to add a 17 th regional championship to its mantle. The loss also snapped the Wildcats’ nine-game winning streak dating back to Week 4.
