A Chandigarh court has convicted three partners of a kiosk outside Panjab University (PU) and imposed a total fine of Rs 90,000 for operating without the mandatory food licence.
The case was initiated by the Chandigarh Administration through the Health Department against Gian Singh and Associates, which runs Kiosk No. 2 at Food Street, Sector 14, along with its partners Giano Devi and Harish Kumar. Pankaj Kumar, who was present as manager at the time of inspection, was also named in the complaint.
