Australians have been left shocked after spotting an item for sale on Kmart’s website that is often abused by drug users.

Cream Charger Bulbs for Whipped Cream Dispensers were recently listed by a third party on Kmart’s Marketplace, a newly-featured section on their website.

The 8 gram bulbs contain nitrous oxide, a gas commonly known as laughing gas.

The bulbs are typically sold for commercial and kitchen use, being used to create homemade whipped cream — however some people use the products for something more sinister.

Some individuals release the bulbs, known colloquially as nangs, into a balloon and inhale it to create a short-lived euphoric high —with the usage of the gas rising following the pandemic.
