UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio --

Theft: Cedar Road

At 4:45 p.m. Oct. 29, officers were dispatched to Target on a theft report.

Police were informed that a male and female suspect had stolen $1,435.19 worth of merchandise from the store before fleeing the scene in a older model Chevrolet vehicle.

Police are investigating.

Obstructing official business: Warrensville Center Road

At 11:35 a.m. Oct. 27, a University Heights resident entered the police station lobby and caused a disturbance while demanding public records.

The same resident then called 911 to report that an officer assaulted him. The assault did not occur and there was no emergency. Information was gathered and a report was taken.
