The invitations to press outlets for New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ annual holiday party at Gracie Mansion aren’t going out this year. Not even for one last time before the one-term mayor leaves office. “Unfortunately the mayor’s timing doesn’t allow for a party this year. He wishes everyone celebrating a joyous holiday season, and a happy new year,” a City Hall spokesperson told City & State.

It’s no surprise. Adams, always the world traveler, ramped up his overseas schedule during his final weeks in office, and much of it on the city’s dime.
