Blue Badges help people with disabilities or health conditions park closer to their destination. But there are certain rules to bear in mind.
The permits can be used by you, either as a passenger or driver . However, the Government warns that "you must use the Blue Badge properly".
It is a criminal offence for you or anyone else to misuse the badge. Doing so could lead to a £1,000 fine and confiscation of the badge. This comes as ChronicleLive explained how drivers must surrender their licence to the DVLA in three cases.
