Manchester City have copped it financially from the Premier League after racking up a massive £3million in fines for delaying kick-offs over the past two seasons. Pep Guardiola's team talks have seen his side hit with quite the bill and the City boss has accepted "rules are rules".
The Catalan coach saw one half-time team talk delay a restart by two minutes and 24 seconds last season. The cumulative breaches eventually saw City land a £1m fine at the end of the campaign.
That was a slight improvement on the season before, where the club were hit by a £2.09m fine for committing 22 delays. The Premier League states that
