A lifelong commitment to helping others started when Jeremy Hurley was in high school and wanted to get out of class.
Hurley, of Meeker, decided to give blood during a mobile blood drive at Ada High School when he was 17, and he suddenly realized that the act could do so much good — and save a lot of lives.
