FAYETTEVILLE -- Wyvette Mayberry was greeted with a healthy round of applause Thursday night when she checked into her first game at Walton Arena.

After missing the University of Arkansas women's basketball team's first four games of the season rehabbing from a knee injury, Mayberry finally got her chance for a warm reception from the home crowd.

As her name was announced at the 2:08 mark of the first quarter in a 96-57 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock, those in attendance got flashbacks to the last time a Mayberry took the floor wearing No. 11 for the Razorbacks.

Yes, the applause had plenty to deal with the past-- when you're the daughter of an Arkansas men's basketball legend such as Lee Mayberry, that type of greeting is expected and warranted.
