Toyota is at it again, and that should make some of the auto industry’s proudest brands nervous.

On the eve of the recent Japan Mobility Show, Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda announced that the Japanese giant will challenge super-luxury brands like Rolls-Royce and Bentley with hand-built vehicles that embody and elevate Japanese design, technology and culture.
