Jahan Dotson gave Lehigh Valley fans a thrill last week when he called out the area code “610” during his Sunday Night Football introduction.
It was another acknowledgment of the Nazareth Area High School community that honored the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver last month.
The Blue Eagles retired Dotson’s No. 5, making the Super Bowl champion the first alum to receive that distinction in program history.
“They’ve treated me like family ever since I was an 8-year-old little kid, growing up and running around in this very stadium,” Dotson said about the people around Nazareth. “They’ve given me the same support all the way through college, high school and the pros.”
