Brits have been issued a warning over drying clothes indoors during autumn and winter . With the cold, dark autumnal nights now well and truly upon us, many will have started drying clothes indoors.
But a simple oversight could be helping mould thrive, and cause unnecessary damage to your home. As well as being unsightly, it can also cause health risks, particularly for people with respiratory conditions or allergies. Andy Ellis, bathroom and shower expert at Vidalux , says autumn and winter bring "increased moisture and cooler temperatures", which creates "the perfect conditions for mould to develop – especially in kitchens, bathrooms, and around windows".
