Jeremy Clarkson says he fainted just days before opening his new Cotswolds pub, The Farmer’s Dog, after being quoted £350,000 to install a new electricity system.

In 2024, the former The Grand Tour host decided to open a pub near his Oxfordshire farm. The Farmer’s Dog — located close to his Chipping Norton property — welcomes hundreds of visitors every day, serving local produce, including meat and beer from the farm itself. According to Clarkson, however, the final days before opening were far from smooth.
