Actor Adarsh Gourav shared a surprising and raw chapter of his journey while speaking at his Sahitya Aaj Tak 2025 session titled Naye Daur Ke Sitare in Delhi on the second day of the festival. Reflecting on his preparation for the role of Balram in 'The White Tiger', the actor revealed that he worked as a daily wage labourer earning Rs 100 a day to truly understand the character’s world.
Adarsh said that during this time, he joined a small dhaba , where he washed utensils, carried bags of supplies, and observed people closely. He said, “I earned Rs 100 a day while preparing for my role. I joined a dhaba near Saket Court and disguised myself as Balram to prepare for 'The White Tiger'. I washed dishes, carried supplies."
