SAGINAW, MI -- Students from three area schools have transformed snowplow blades into works of art as part of the Saginaw County Road Commission’s annual Paint-a-Plow program, creating colorful designs that will be visible on county roads throughout the winter season.

Hemlock High School, Thomas White Elementary School, and the Saginaw Intermediate School District partnered with the road commission this fall to decorate the plows with themes highlighting Michigan winters, community spirit and road safety. The painted plows will be used during snow and ice control operations across the county.
