TRAVERSE CITY — As fans and movie critics everywhere talk about “Wicked: For Good,” coming out this weekend, local pre-teen Haven Rieck calls us back to a year ago, when we first saw Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande on-screen playing our favorite witches.

Eleven-year-old Rieck, who is a part of the Teen Company at Company Dance Traverse through Dance Arts Academy, recently took her dance journey away from home in northern Michigan to Lansing, where she qualified as Outstanding Dancer runner up in the mini category, and after, all the way to NYC Dance Alliance nationals in Phoenix, Arizona.
