SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Six men received second-degree or attempted second-degree murder related indictments.
On Nov. 21, the Caddo Parish Grand Jury returned eight indictments.
Two of the indictments involved Jeoffery Jermaine McKenzie, 35, of Shreveport, who faces trial for alleged second-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, and separate indictments for two instances of possession of a firearm, or carrying a concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies.
The murder indictment for McKenzie involves the alleged killing of Zauntravious Davis, 23, and the attempted murder of two other people on the same day outside the Lifestyle Apartments, 4200 block of Lakeshore Drive.
