Scene of incident in Shrewsbury where police cordon remains in place near Morrisons

A major Shrewsbury road has been closed off by police following an incident.

Officers have taped off a section of Whitchurch Road, from the Heathgates Pub towards Morrisons.

The steps outside the supermarket are also taped off.

The route remained closed as of 3.40pm.
