OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person was killed in a shooting that took place late Friday night in North Omaha.

Omaha Police say officers were dispatched to the scene near North 39th Street and Ellison Circle just after 10 p.m. Friday.

Police found the victim, 23-year-old Jordan Phillips, suffering from gunshot injuries at the scene.

Phillips was taken to the hospital where he later died, according to OPD.
