Actor Shraddha Kapoor has injured her toe while shooting for Laxman Utekar’s upcoming film ‘Eetha. Following the injury, the shoot has now hit a brief pause.

According to sources close to the actor, Shraddha sustained a fractured toe while filming an elaborate Lavani dance sequence. The actor, who plays a young Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar in the biopic, had reportedly gained over 15 kilos for the role and was dressed in a vibrant Nauvari saree with traditional jewellery for the dance number composed by Ajay–Atul.

A production source informed India Today that during a dance sequence , she “mistakenly put all her weight on one of her feet and lost her balance as a result.”

Though director Laxman Utekar called off the shoot immediately, Shraddha urged the team to continue and eve
