TRUMBULL COUNTY, OH - On Saturday The Warren Family Mission hosted an emergency food giveaway at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds.
The event was intended to help families put extra food on the table for the second year in a row.
"We had over 62,000 pounds of food, and we prepared for over 1,000 families. We had people line up as early as 2:30 in the morning to wait in line to get food," Dominic Mararri, Director of Public Relations for the Warren Family Mission, said.
With assistance from the Second Harvest Food Bank and volunteers from the Safe Harbor Recovery Center, they made a significant impact on families in need for the upcoming holiday.
