The field of Midlands teams competing for S.C. High School League titles was cut in half on Friday.
Dutch Fork, Irmo, Fairfield Central and Gray Collegiate Academy all won third-round playoff matchups. Both the Silver Foxes and Yellow Jackets will play their respective Class 5A Divisions I and II semifinals next week at home, while the Griffins and War Eagles will be on the road for the Classes 2A and 4A Lower State finals against first-time opponents.
