Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly appeared to make a huge mistake during the special Blackpool show - and it didn't go unnoticed by fans.

The presenter, who is leaving the show at the end of this year along with co-host Claudia Winkleman, was interviewing Danny Mac and Ashley Roberts at the side of the Tower Ballroom when she made an unfortunate slip.

The former finalists will participate in a special routine alongisde fellow finalists Jay McGuiness and Layton Williams on tomorrow night's show - but Tess appeared to officially reveal the Sunday night programme isn't live with her comments.

The hosts usually keep up the pretence that the Sunday night show is filmed separately, much to the annoyance of fans.
