LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - DeWitt and Jackson Lumen Christi were both able to punch their tickets to the state finals, while Pewamo-Westphalia lost a heartbreaker to Menominee.
DeWitt was able to pull away in the second half with the help of Trav Moore, who had four touchdowns, as the Panthers beat Warren De La Salle 41-20 in the Division 3 state semifinals.
The Panthers are now headed to Ford Field for the first time since 2021 and will be taking on Mount Pleasant on Nov. 30 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Jackson Lumen Christi won a triple overtime game over Almont with a 25-19 victory in the Division 6 state finals at Novi High School. Titans’ quarterback Benny Gaston rushed for a couple of touchdowns in a gritty performance.
