ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -A man was charged Friday for leaving the scene of a hit-and-run that occurred on November 14.
Ken Angelo North, 62, was charged with one count of leaving the scene of an accident, resulting in death.
North was arrested on Thursday and also charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm. After conducting a search, officers found a .380 Sig Sauer. He is a convicted felon who cannot own a gun.
According to court records, North was driving on his 1995 Cadillac DeVille on November 14 when he hit Marquis Lane Wesley, 57 on Goodfellow near Greer.
According to police, Wesley was found lying in the middle of the street. Witnesses told police that they tried to help Wesley after he was found lying in the road, but he was hit by a tan pickup truck befor
