Fast food chain KFC has issued an apology after one of its official accounts shared a video that appeared to ridicule a Welsh woman's stammer. The clip featured influencer Jessie Yendle, from Pontypridd in Wales, who has lived with a stammer throughout her life and now boasts over three and a half million followers on TikTok following years of campaigning to raise awareness about speech impediments.
The footage showed her trying to pronounce a sound as she stammers with repetition before cutting to a dance track whilst displaying various KFC products on screen, reports Wales Online .
