LINCOLN, Neb. —
Lincoln police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to LPD, the incident happened around 4 p.m. at an apartment complex near 9th Street and Harrison Avenue on Saturday.
Authorities said a 29-year-old Omaha man was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital with CPR in progress.
LPD said a 34-year-old man from Lincoln, who knew the victim, was at the apartment and is cooperating with the investigation.
Lincoln police said a firearm was found at the scene, and they do not think there is a threat to the public.
