The second-ranked and defending state champion Titans advanced to the state finals for the fourth straight season Saturday afternoon. Lumen Christi did so by knocking off top-ranked and previously unbeaten Almont 25-19 in a wild and lengthy Division 6 state semifinals clash at Novi High School in a game that took four quarters and three overtime sessions to complete.
Lumen Christi (10-3) advances to the state finals for an MHSAA co-leading 18th time in school history dating back to 1977 and will compete at 4 p.m. Nov. 28 at Ford Field against Kingsley in the Division 6 state finals. The Titans will be going
