Old Dominion delivered one of its most dominant outings of the season on Saturday, rolling past Georgia Southern 45–10 at Allen E. Paulson Stadium with a powerful ground game and a controlling defensive performance. The Monarchs piled up 376 rushing yards—the second-highest total in program history—and improved to 8–3 overall and 5–2 in the Sun Belt, marking their first eight-win season since 2016.
Quarterback Colton Joseph led the offense with a career-high 189 rushing yards on 20 carries, adding both a rushing and passing touchdown while completing 12 of 18 attempts for 140 yards. His work helped fuel an attack that topped 300 rushing yards for the third time this year and produced 551 total yards.
ODU’s defense continued a recent surge of strong play, limiting the Eagles to 249 total
