WLKY was invited inside a deeply personal, private farewell. We are learning more about Lou Fedon and his 3-year-old granddaughter, Kimberly Asa, two of the 14 lives lost in the UPS plane crash. Their family opened their doors and their hearts, allowing us to witness the love, the grief, and the legacy they leave behind.
“I don’t mean to cry, but my heart just grieves. This is a tragedy that is a great loss,” said Pastor Reva Kasey.

Two best friends, inseparable in life, and laid to rest together.
“I brought her to work with me, and my dad came in, picked her up for me, and that was the last time I saw them,” said Kimberely’s mother, Sherline Fedon.
