A pensioner who died after being hit by a car in a Scots town has been named by police.
Andrew Dick, 93, from Kilmarnock, was involved in a collision with BMW in the town centre on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Fowlds Street in the East Ayrshire town following the incident.
Mr Dick was taken to hospital , where he died on Thursday.
Fowlds Street was closed for around seven hours as investigations into the crash took place and much of Kilmarnock town centre was gridlocked during rush hour.
Following the incident, police appealed for anyone who was in the area and has dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist investigations into the cause of the crash to get in touch.
