Officers are searching for a missing Highland teen who is understood to have travelled from the capital.

Natasha Reid, 15, was reported missing from the Invergordon area in the north of Scotland, and police are asking for the public to help in tracing her whereabouts.

She is described as being white, around 5ft10 in height, of a slim build, has long brown hair and blue eyes.

She was seen near Inverness Train Station around 4pm on Friday November 21 and was then wearing a black Puffer jacket and black leggings.

Sergeant Duncan Birse, Dingwall Police Station, said: “We understand that Natasha has since travelled Edinburgh where she was seen around midnight Friday into Saturday in the city centre.

"She had changed clothes and was wearing leopard print pyjamas.
