IBERVILLE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A huge change has been made to a dangerous intersection in Iberville Parish.

According to officials with the parish, the intersection of Enterprise Boulevard and and Highway 77 is now a four-way stop. The announcement about the change was made on Saturday, November 22.

The dangerous area has been a topic of discussion for weeks. Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi sent a letter in late September to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, requesting a study to determine ways to improve the intersection.

Sheriff Stassi said that since the year 2022, there have been 13 crashes at the location. He added that while none of them were deadly, he feels the situation is a growing concern for the community.
