Allegheny County police are investigating a shooting in Clairton late Friday that sent one resident to a local hospital.

The victim was shot three times in the leg around 10 p.m. after he opened his front door on the 1000 block of Marion Circle, according to police. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.

Preliminary investigations determined that the shots came from the street. No suspects have been named.
