A 29-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing at a Toronto residence Sunday morning, said police.

Officers responded around 5:04 a.m. near Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West to calls of an altercation between two men in a residence, said Toronto police on social media.

One man was stabbed by the other in the incident, said police, adding both men knew each other.

Police said injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon and failure to comply charges, said police.
