BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - Residents are displaced, and two pets died in a house fire Saturday, November 22, according to Bedford Fire Department.

Firefighters responded at 12:44 p.m. to reports of a structure fire on Rolling Meadow Drive in Thaxton.

Firefighters say they were able to extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
