OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — One man is hurt and another is seriously injured after a crash involving a delivery truck in Allendale Township on Sunday morning.

Around 10:15 a.m., deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) responded to a crash blocking Lake Michigan Drive at Red Hawk Lane.

Deputies said the preliminary investigation showed that a westbound delivery truck made a U-turn at Red Hawk Lane in front of a westbound car. According to OCSO, the westbound car crashed into the delivery truck and went off the road.

The delivery truck was left disabled in the road. When deputies arrived at the scene, traffic was moved down to one lane to accommodate patient care and vehicle removal.

Due to the extensive cleanup required, deputies said the road was closed for about an hour.
