CITRA, Fla. (WCJB) - Marion County Fire Rescue is sharing photos after extinguishing a house fire in Citra Saturday.
They say units responded to the scene near 3100 NE 155th Place around 4:45 p.m. after multiple reports of a house and a storage building being fully involved in a fire.
They arrived to find two structures heavily involved in flames, and crews quickly began extinguishing the fire. It spread to a nearby vehicle, and a large propane tank began to self vent before firefighters were able to protect the exposed structures and the car.
Firefighters say they got the fire under control at 5:06 p.m., and no injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was called in to assist the family of two who lived in the house.
