Five months after triumphing in the BBL Finals, Bayern Munich’s basketball squad once again came out on top against Ulm 77-81.
But only after surviving a fierce battle that stretched into overtime.
Despite Ulm’s recent slump, they had dropped their last five BBL games, there was no sign of insecurity early on, and the game was decided in the extra five minutes, where Spencer Dinwiddie was vital.
The American guard finished the game with 22 points. Oscar da Silva and Stefan Jovic were also very important with 15 points each, making sure that the absences of Lucic, Obst and Voigtmann were of no consecuence.
Tobias Jensen, who scored 19 points, led the team’s scoring efforts.
